Our services are limited to the preparation, review, formatting, and support of contractor safety files, risk assessments, method statements, policies, procedures, checklists, registers, and related health and safety documentation.
Nombuso Consulting does not provide Safety Officer services, site supervision, legal appointments, on-site safety management, safety inspections, incident investigations, audits, or any services that require us to act as the appointed Safety Officer, SHEQ Officer, Construction Health and Safety Officer, or responsible person on behalf of a client.
All documentation supplied by Nombuso Consulting must be reviewed, approved, implemented, and maintained by the client and/or the appointed competent person responsible for the workplace or project. The client remains fully responsible for legal compliance, site-specific implementation, employee training, supervision, recordkeeping, and ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met in accordance with applicable South African legislation and project-specific requirements.
Nombuso Consulting accepts no liability for incidents, non-compliance, penalties, rejected safety files, site conditions, unsafe acts, omissions, or failures arising from the use, non-use, incorrect use, or incomplete implementation of any documentation provided.
Our role is to assist with documentation preparation and administrative support. Final compliance responsibility remains with the client and their appointed competent person.
